Milliamp LTD | http://www.milliamp.com | This video demonstrates a technique that can be used to open even the most difficult 3rd Generation iPod battery installation.
@mickicd56 - Please give us a call with your Order Number and we can talk you through it - are you sure you have a 3rd Gen iPod and NOT a 6th Gen iPod classic? The 6th Gen was designed to not be opened, but we can do it here in our shop.
i bought one for $20 at a garadge sale. i plug it to my computer it says it recognized it. The apple logo pops up on the screen then you hear a click and a line on the screen appears like -----------------------------right through the middle of the screen, it fades and it turns off
I have the parts
I have the tool
I can't get the stupid back to budge!
