Twitter user "cpich3g" (member of the Dev team) posted pictures proving that the iPhone 3GS on 3.1 is unlocked on the O2 carrier.

GreenPois0n will be making a "Semi-tethered" for the first half of the version. Semi tethered as in u can go out and in with the regular apps u have.. But then say u got apps from cydia then u wud have to plug into the computer to use them. Like i said before, u can unplug ur ipod touch from the computer but is unable to use the cydia apps till returned to a computer. Then later in the future there will be a fully released version. That is when Greenpois0n is fully UN-TETHERED as what we want.

i have my ipod touch 3g 64gb and blackra1n.. when i´ll could to a jailbreak that it permits to restart or turn it off ????? THANKS!!

@ipodtoucher15 yes u can use blackra1n update to firmware 3.1.2 then restore then use blackra1n and then click on the blackra1n icon on ur ipod then install cydia then ur done but it will be tethered which means if u reboot ur ipod u will have to use blackra1n again (not respring,Reboot)
