make sure you check the bag on the bread! lots of breads (white especially) have animal derived mono- and diglicerides.

@perpexel Try your local healthfood store (a full grocer, not supplement only one). It's harder to track down in Canada. I live just north of Calgary, Alberta, Canada and got lucky that the new healthfood store, Nutter's, carries it. It tastes a little more lile butter plain but on a sandwich it tastes very close to mayonaise. I like adding galic and onion powder to it. If you're in the US, go to the veganaise site as you can also buy it from the website itself.
