Cris George discovered a mystery tinny which he believes is one of the first that was made here on the coast; he was hoping to find its original owner and builder.

Living on the Coast covered the story late in 2008 titled "Mystery Boat".
It involved a boat that had been improvised from an Republic Seabee aircraft hull, as a result of this story a relative of the previous owners has confirmed the ownership and operation of the craft.
This is a significant item of Shoalhaven maritime history and a mystery was solved.
