Don't Text and Drive - A Public Service Announcement

Please watch this video. More and more teens are dying from accidents related to sending text messages behind the wheel. Death counts from texting and drving are slowly getting higer than the accounts of drinking and driving related deaths. It is a poison that is overwhelming my generation, and it makes me sick and embarassed. They are phones, you can call to talk verbally. What is the point of text on a telephone?

@MauiMusician No. You're still at risk by distracting yourself heavily to the point where you could get into an accident. Being caught off guard would injure you. Doesn't matter how good of a driver you say you are, car always wins.

@abutlerskateboards keep your smarts about you kid... a DDC is a good idea, chances are if you do what your supposed to then you can avoid a crash even if its someone elses fault (a good folowing distance is the biggest thing to being safe!!!)

this is why i am afraid to drive once i get my license in 3 weeks. I mean its sad, I know i wont be terrified to the point of im not gonna drive but i will not ever text or drive under the influence i dont want to die

so if you cant text and you cant read them....can you atleast use tts? text-to-speech....that just reads the text outloud for you to hear...its safe as long as you dont reply while your driving right?

I see that father shaytard holds a camera though when he drives to record him blabing away about nothing. If he can do that so can I. I wont text any more, I will just hold up a camera and record myself everytime I drive.
