Pink Floyd at its best..... melody, perspective, though, poetry... unleashed in 'one' explosion!

@Dihital its meaning bascily in its final notes......ashes and diamonds... for and friend.. we were all equal in the end.... meaning.. it took all this destruction and whatnot to get us to remind oursellves of HOW equal we all our... the same blood and bones here and all over this planet...we all ARE equal.. its just todays society is about money, and appliances you dont REALLY need, and that signifies a Class, despite the basic assembly of this entire "process"

@Slipandfall360 well bring a case... cuz nothing will happen. Life WILL go on..the only REAL end to ANY world, is when you or i personally died.. hence.. the end of the world..OUR world as in OUR state of being.. and that fact that death is INEVITABLE.. rest easy in knowing one by one we will fall.. but i dont see a huge holocaust ending all life...

My main criterion for a song is "is it moving for me". If it is, I'll give it 5 stars, otherwise I won't bother to vote at all.
This one song, although I can't say I've discovered its meaning, is one of my favorites. The pure emotions I can relate too is unexplainable.

Is that gun the "Atomic Annie" or a smaller pre-version?

@alpha18412 The Atomic Cannon, at 280 mm, was the largest nuclear capable mobile artillery piece manufactured by the United States. On May 25, 1953, a 280 mm cannon fired an atomic projectile a distance of 7 miles at the Nevada Test Site. Twenty 280 mm cannons were manufactured. None were used in battle.
