Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of JOUST for the Atari 7800 Prosystem! Developed by Williams and originally released in the arcade in 1982, Joust was a smash coin-op, old school video game hit. To this day Joust remains one of the best 2D arcade titles to date and is amazingly fun to plady. Joust has been released on just about every video game console system in history including the Atari 2600, 7800, NES, Playstation and Xbox Live Arcade. There was even a Joust pinball machine!

Be sure to watch the original Classic Game Room episodes. Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999-2000, now on DVD. Wii, PS3, Xbox 360. Pro system.

  • It was one of my favorite games during those times. Thank you for sharing!

  • Bird Ass! LOL! Can we get that one for Atari 7800?

  • Looked this video up after reading Ready Player One, this game actually looks very entertaining. I haven't looked it up yet, but I hope that the XBox GameRoom has this game, Tempest, and Pac-Man as well.

  • @Wakkajakka Jetpac was the game in Donkey Kong 64. Rareware's first game.

  • The Atari 7800 version of Joust aka Bird Ass looks much better than the NES version. I personally like the Atari versions of this game.

  • Ya I got the game for my old NES but I can't get past wave five. And did the makers of this game make altered beast for genesis.

  • I grew up with Bird Ass. It's amazing. I love Bird Ass.

  • Can anyone help me find the old Mac game that was veeerrrrry similar to this? It was basically the same thing, but the background had hieroglyphs and stone...and there was lava at the bottom?

  • I loved finding this game in Donkey Kong 64.

  • hey, are you afraid of terrys?? jeje
