The geoshpere by Gibraltar Hardware was a hit at the NAMM show this year and Sam Ash has it on display in their showroom in Hollywood. This is a one of a kind custom designed rack and belongs as much in an art gallery as a music shop. It seems as much like sculpture as it does a drum rack, you have to see it to believe it. http://diy.gibraltarhardware.com/index.php/2010/04/26/gibraltar-geosphere-dru...

@azzaroz The V-rack actually isn't that heavy, it's pretty light just by itself and is easy to carry and move around. Once you start mounting drums, cymbals, percussion, and accessories is when the weight starts to add up but by it self is no problem. I'm sure you can go to the Gibraltar website or google the info an it should give you the exact weight. Hope I helped!
