  • That must be the worst Scottish accent I've ever heard in my life. It's like a cross between Mrs Doubtfire and Groundskeeper Willie.

  • His mother is mostly German from Missouri, his father is mostly Swedish from Iowa, and he grew up in Southern Illinois, so the accent is nowhere near Scottish. But he loves Robert Service, and that's enough.

  • Great job! I'm Scottish and I'm pleased to see someone doing a piece by Service that reminds us of the fact that he was from Scotland. Most people think he was American or Canadian. I enjoyed it. As for your accent, it was a lot better than Mel Gibson in Braveheart!

  • accent or not... I gave it 5 stars.
