its like theres slight progress being made hes getting closer to her, she can be saved he can grab her, she sort of smiles lets him walk to her then sets of sprinting in the opposite direction. runs straight of the edge no lingering no stopping, no last thoughts. she just leaps into the air, she already made her decision, giving a false hope to the guy trying to save her. probably killing him a little more inside thinking he can save her and then having him run of like this.
