the strategy worked fine, i just needed to figure it out a couple times because Colonel Burton kept on dying. but i just beat, so it did work in the end for me.

It is Hard; at least give the strategy a good try before saying otherwise. =P
It just seems like they're not sending that much at me because that small force I drop with Burton destroys most of the enemy attack groups from the main GLA base before they reach my base (most of the enemy units from the main base travel down that left side, at least early on), not to mention I attack them fairly early and start taking out their production quickly.

Oh, you mean Eva saying "Our-- Reinforcements have arrived"?
Burton got in range of the Radar Van, so she started saying "Our Colonel Burton has been detected," but then the reinforcements came, so she switched to "Reinforcements have arrived" in the middle of it.
