very nice fire bird its not a trans am i have the trans am model wich was made with the 305 V8 that was CARBURATED not injected and yes i do agree with metalwind crossfire injection is horrible but this was a very nice car and it does not have an "original corvette engine in it as he says at 4:16 in the film so thank you for puting a good video of your car but dont say things that you have no clue about

@ccrraaazzy It does not have a corvette engine...just because it is a 350 chevy small does not mean it is a corvette engine...the corvette and trans am are two different cars and had different engine codes...kinda like my prelude...b21a1 was strictly the prelude...not the civic...I could go around saying that my 82 scottsdale had a corvette engine becuase it is a 350. and...sorry kid there is no muscle car class...sure you can take automotive classes...

@ccrraaazzy Actual Recaro T/A production was limited to 2,000 in 1982. Many of those cars were abused and neglected, and few survive to this day. Though its factory performance numbers left a lot to be desired (as in almost every car during that era), it is still a fairly rare car. I had 2 1982s, and I still regret selling the last one I had.

@ccrraaazzy Recaro T/A only had LG4 (Carbureted) or LU5 (Cross-Fire injection) engines. Both are 305s. Corvettes had 350s. Recaro T/As cost almost $3K more than regular T/As, but the option didn't include a Corvette engine. GM had an internal clause during those years that stated that no car could have the same or more horsepower as the Corvette. That's one of the reasons Pontiac killed its Turbo 301 and started using Chevrolet 305s.

i have a ta / fb too and i love it just like you yours and no i wasant dissing you or the car , btw mine runs on lpg (propane) and i think thats even better (than stock , not yours), it me and it against the world. mine came in terible condition , it was stuck in a dich and all the plastics where screwed it pulled out car in but we got that back out , the it pulled the flat bed tow truck half in , it was really stuck

@ccrraaazzy yes but for it to be a rean ta it has to have ta stock parts , mine has the door things that say ta and the vin shows up ta but cause the engine was changed its not and we had to get a new ownership , yours came stock like that so the factory made your ownership say ta but your vin numbers wont agree with the data bass if you look them up individualy
