Oklahoma Northern Lights

Got a call last night that the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) were reported over Oklahoma. They were seen from Texas/Oklahoma to the Carolinas - a very rare event indeed. A CME had hit us with a perfectly inverted magnetic field, which compressed Earth's magnetic and allowed the particles to hit the outer atmosphere. Look at the upper left of the time lapse video and you'll see the wisps move to the right. They are actually glowing red, and filled the majority of the northern sky before dissipating.

That was just an airplane. Look at the upper left. The whispy ghost-like stuff was the Aurora. On the higher resolution video at home, you actually see it twist around as it progresses. At these lower latitudes, aurora glows red. But unfortunately, can't see that in B&W.
