How wrong was Jeremy Clarkson. He said it was a poor car which no one would want to buy yet its been the biggest Coupe hit of the last 10 years. Plus its the only Coupe of that age that still looks modern today both internally and externally. I think it just goes to show what a poor car reviewer Jeremy Clarkson is, Basically any car he slags off does well and the cars he loves always turn out to be unrealiable and poor sellers

@G18andy But by any measure the first Audi TT was never a sports car and Clarkson could tell! In his review he gave important information like 0-60, the choice of engines and horspower. He explained how nice the interior was and explained how the TT wasn't nice to drive. Even though it did sell alot... Clarkson caters his car reviews to red blooded car enthusiast. And I'm sure very few serious car enthusiast bought a TT. Clarkson is not just an auto journalist, he's THE auto journalist!

@G18andy OMD you're chatting pure shit lol. Jeremy Clarkson is an ace (don't worry I'm not his fan) and he was throwing facts! Now then, can you justify your bullshit with any facts? Both Audi TT Coupes and Roadsters were absolutely shit, it was a tradegy when it came out! Everything was wrong with it, people were constantly crashing them because of body rolls, bad suspensions, no comfort, etc; Audi admitted the fact and had to recall all of their TTs for some expensive modifications!!!

haha,JC was absolutely wrong! I still owned TTQ for almost 10 years since the day1. and its still run like wow..., i keep this one for daily even i got another horses in my garage, the reason is ...TESTING HOW MUCH AUDI TT CAN STAND .. but wow thats great! 10 years lol...

I like my 04 TT Roadster the handling is fine for UK roads, in fact its as good as anything i have driven before. He is used to driving supercars that cost more than your average house so its not going to be as good as them. As far as looks go i think its the best looking car in the last 30 years with enough performance for 95% of drivers.

S2000 handles much better and revs much higher but the styling is rather borish. The TT is an amazing design which still looks incredible 10 years later! The older ones are much nicer than the newer ones. Clarkson is way off on this one. Its a dream to drive. Cornering isnt incredible, but it sure is more fun to drive than a Golf.
