I really wish Alice in Chains would have gotten Lanegan to replace Staley, then recorded an album of metal/grunge music but with a country/storytelling focus, that would be off the charts amazing.
"Ramblin' Man" ,,,I love you baby butchoo got to understand When The Lord Above made me he mad a rambl-in' man,,, Lanegan is a modern day Jim Morrison dark-hearted soul rock blues somethin' or another Cool groove, swing to this cut The guitar starvation box ol' fiddle part sounds like Link Wray...or Doc Watson What about this band for an album: Mark Lanegan--vocals Jack White--background vocals, guitar, slide Lightnin' Ray Luzier--drums John Paul Jones--bass guitar

How about:
Mark Lanegan - vocals
Marc Ribot - guitar
John Paul Jones - bass
Lightnin Ray Luzier - Drums
Mick Harvey - background vocals, keys
That would be brilliant!
