Tragic loss of a great talent to suspcious circumstances. Unfortunately times were not merciful to Sam and we'll never know what really took place!!!!

A great singer, but not a god that folks make him out to be. it is not his fault, some folks put him on a pedestal he did not deserve.
What did he deserve? not to die like that, that's for sure. he was a talent, that i have not heard of since. His voice belonged to him, and only him. those imitators are just that: imitators.
it is wonderful that we have his music today. i think it will be centuries (if the world survives) before we hear one so talented again

I just found out yesterday that Sam Cooke is my Great Great Great Cousin By My Granfather's Mother first Cousin..My Grandfather's Cousin song at his funeral!who sing back up for tonigreen the blue singer.....

who knows except those that dealt the death blow and robbed the world. But sometimes the sweetest romances are short. I cry sometimes. Real tears. But life being what it is always holds mysteries.. Ive seen a lot of singers and heard a lot of men croon. But none of them were or are as sweet as Sam. God knows best. But his was the smoothest voice I have ever heard. The most beautiful. Others have had more range. None the love. I miss you Sam. RIP. Please. Nobody knows the trouble you've seen.
