This is the ZVex Vexter Super Hard On. This unique boost is based on a classic 60's recording console input, with a negative feedback control that crackles when turned, hence the "crackle ok". The extremely high 5 million ohm input impedance of the ZVex Vexter Super Hard On makes it great for adding clarity and life to dull-sounding pickups when used at the lowest gain setting. At higher gain settings it will absolutely punish the front end of your tube amp, resulting in thick, molten overdrive tones. The Zvex Vexter Super Hard On also features dual outputs, for use with dual amplifiers, and rugged True Bypass contruction to keep your cleans pristine. it sounds like it could boost so much, that it fries the parts of my amps o.o

@Distortionize - Highly unlikely, but we would suggest starting at a low setting and gradually turning it up, more for your ears' sake than your amp's. It does have quite a lot of output. Thanks!
