X-Men Cartoon Theme on guitar

I'm sick and tired of watching this tune being played wrong by practically everyone on YouTube! So I've decided to upload this.

Capo on 1st fret (so the natural harmonics at the end sound right). The song is in correct pitch. Compare with:

It is basically two minor arpeggios at the same fret, one with the root on the 6th, the other one on the 5th string. This is played with alternative picking and palm muting (don't sweep it - it is easier but it doesn't sound punchy enough).

Played on a Jackson RX10D thru a Tech 21 Trademark. No effects so you can hear which tones are played (although it ought to be played with a hefty amount of delay and maybe some light chorus...).

There's a couple of notes that are off, but the theme is played twice so if I didn't play it ok the first time, check out how it's played the second time (and vice-versa).

I'm quite a fan of the cartoon as well as the comics and the movies so it really ticked me off everybody's been playing this amazing intro wrong. Hope this video is helpful in any way (the video quality is poor cause I don't know how to increase the FPS rate of my webcam recordings).

@rutger2112 Yeah, I know. I can't find a decent backing track for this anywhere!

And a bit more distortion and delay wouldn't hurt. But this was more like a lesson or a "how it should be played" video, because almost every other video on youtube with this theme was full of wrong notes or weird rhythmic phrasing.
