It seems like MD80's usually take off with some flaps.

@flyinghow You have to say something if it looks they are going to try and take off without flaps. Xanax won't help when you're dead. Remember the time Spanair Crashed and MD80 full of Kids when they tried to take off with out being properly configured for the take off.

Whoa, very short take off roll...and I agree with the other comment, he waited too long to set the flaps. I get extremely nervous when the pilot does not do that at the gate on push back or before taxi. I would have been popping Xanax on this one.

It tooks too long to set flaps up, thats exactly what causes the crash in Madrid in the same plane...
