The answer might be kinda easy to explain. IF scientists are right about evolution and God didn't created everything about 10K years ago then, they may be also right about OTHER things that may be in contrast with the bible. For science universe was born out of the big bang. For creationists (or christians more generally) it was the work of God. Do you see now?
