  • Patriarchy is translated from ancient greek as the rule of the fathers. To the cultural anthropologist the most patriarchal form of government is monarchy. It is interesting to note however that the most powerful women of history have been monarchs. And yet we are supposed to believe that the patriarchy enslaved women. I challenge feminists to show me a women through all of history who was more powerful than Maria Theresa or Catharine the Great.

  • @ImperialRussianGuard In the case of the famous European Queens the power of the empire always rested frimly in the hands of men. There is no such thing as a completely female run organization anywhere. Read my website and learn the difference in gender. E.G.

  • @ImperialRussianGuard No you didn't say it but your comments reflected it. Using anything Euorpean with but a very few exceptions as a source for understanding is an oxymoron. Change your thinking my friend. Come out of the hole of gross materialistic Western thought and learn about the positive and negative, unseen and seen, masculine and feminine principles that pervade every plane of existence. E.G.

  • Give me evidence that the man is better as head. Because of women, family has been held together . Think about who was keeping the family going when the men were sent to war? Thank God for the women.

  • I don't need to present more conclusive evidence. You need to develop more of an understanding.

  • @mensaction I agree with you that they were not completely female run organizations. Most female monarchs surrounded themselves with male advisors and appointed men to high positions in government. However they were by no means symbolic monarchs. Catharine the Great, although she greatly respected the opinions of her advisors, generally did want she wanted to do. Did I ever say there was no difference in gender ?

  • This video is so backwards. Dominance; which is the right to initiate force does not solve problems, it makes them worse. If you want evidence that partnership works better than dominance, look to the Minoan civilization.

  • Yes, and they are part of the patriarchal system. Patriarchy cannot be separated from the behaviours of people. Both men and women have been influenced by patriarchy.

  • Ever heard of Bloody Mary?

Margret Thatcher treated British troops like cannon fodder and started several battles/wars. Worst ever leader.

Indira Gandhi led India in a war

Catherine the great started several wars.

    Tz'u-hsi started wars.

    Golda Meir started several Wars.

    Queen Mary of the Scots.

    There are more.

This proves that You shouldn't talk until you know what you're talking about.

  • Yes of course Eve is telling us how we should allow women to rule..

Feminism is the enemy. The rich elite funded and created feminism which is just communism under another name. It had nothing to do with Patriarchy.

    Yeah, get real!

  • Romalatti also said "If the government were run by women, we would not have to worry about war". Right now in this society we have a lot of households and even certain communities run by women and yet there is more and more violence occuring each and every day. Most of which comes from men and women who were raised by single mothers.

  • To me, it simply means that men are recognized as and are taught to be leaders in there families and communities. Romalatti said "Think about who was keeping the family going when the men were sent to war? Thank God for the women." if it were not for men fighting that war and building this country women would not have had a family to keep going at all! Its funny how women often leave out details like that.
