My favorite Pink Floyd album

Richard had a beautiful voice! He and Dave were the real musicians in the group, which counter-acted the drive to succeed and lyrics of Roger...making it all work magically.

Awesome Floyd Album!! Listened for the the first time in Anchorage Alaska with a friend back in 1982. It totally blew us away!

@Thill029 well said.

I love this song! it's simply wonderful! ;)

I'm curious if anyone else has made the following connection: In the chorus, doesn't Rick Wright's voice sound like Donald Fagen of Steely Dan?

im tired of growing up with an era that appreciates meeningless repeated rap then vinyl.

@bigbear647965 Couldn't have said it better myself - although his voice kind of invades and sits there next to my demons. Reminding me I'm human and what not. One of the greatest voices ever.

Thanx, this is a great post!

This is the most underrated pink floyd album... every song on it is good. Nothing grand and epic like with most of their other albums, but to this day its one of the best chill records ever made.

RIP Richard. You are always missed. And this isn't just coming from left field. We all have that special connection with Pink Floyd's music. Rick's music was the soft and gentle side of PF that can cheer you up when your down or something
