About this Movie:
My name is Anita, and I have been a coder for almost 12 years at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California. I found out about the AHIMA Video contest, and the first person that came to mind is my dear friend and coding coworker, Kathy. She falls into a category of many who have countless excuses for not taking the CCS exam, even though she has YEARS of experience coding. If I'm lucky enough to win, I'm really hoping AHIMA will let me pass my award to Kathy, so she has no excuse not to take the exam. If the AHIMA Gods decline, then I'll take the CCS-P to go along with my current CCS.
I'm a coder by day, video editor by night, so thanks to AHIMA for giving me a reason to combine the two sides of my life- this was fun.
May 24th Update: After being lucky enough to win this contest, and forcing said coder to just take the exam...she passed. Go Kathy!!
