JOHNSTOWN — Democratic Sen. Barack Obama brought his campaign for the White House to the area yesterday, delighting a capacity crowd that came out to see him at the Greater Johnstown Area High School.
The nomination front-runner's message of hope and change brought the crowd to its feet more than a half-dozen times, as well as earning him a key endorsement from Sen. Robert Casey Jr.
"I have been impressed with his ability to inspire people wherever he goes," Casey told the more than 1,400 people gathered in the gymnasium.
"Starting today we have a chance to take America down a different path, a path of change, and a path of healing," he said.
Obama's sentiments echoed Casey's closely during the forum style-event, where the candidate opened with a speech and then took a number of questions from the crowd.

All that is necessary for evil to triumph in the world is for enough good men to do nothing. At best, Obama sits on the fence on abortion. Is he for, or against it. Surely he has an opinion on something as serious as killing the innocent. 48,000,000 abortions in America. More than Al Qaida will ever destroy. Womens rights. Yes. But what of the rights of the unborn. Have we killed future presidents, future Nobel winners, the person(s) who will cure cancer, aids etc. Think about it.

so what if I disagree that stealing is wrong. Can I go take whatever I want from the store without paying for it? im a good person...if I choose to disagree with someone does that mean I have license to do whatever I want? NO
Murder is murder no matter if you agree that it is or disagree. It has been scientifically proven that abortion kills Children, and that they are HUMAN BABIES!

The voice does not match the video. What is he really saying? His lips move but the sound does not come close to the picture.

WOW.This is such a tough issue & Obama managed to take this political third rail & again remind us we can disagree without being disagreeable! find the common ground that lets us know that while it is a difficult moral matter, it is better left to individuals and not the federal govt! ie common ground like, we can work on prevention and adoption to reduce the numbers of unintended pregnancies. A path of change? A path of healing? I have never heard of a racist healing anything. What a bunch of lies, and told with a straight face. What a joke. No on Obama.
