oh my god. I have bronchitis curently. Just acute bronchitis I caught from an upper respiratory infection, my cough doesnt sound like that it sounds normal. & Once I start coughing like that, I told my breath to stop myself because if I dont my airway closes. My doctor said I had a little bit of bronchitis. he could only tell because he listened to my chest and said it sounded like my bronchi or whatever were inflamed cause my breathing sounded coarse. Im on antibiotics, penicillin .

Thanks for this. Have a bad cough. Was starting to think that maybe its whooping cough, but sounds way similar to yours (just not as bad)

I'm a smoker, but still young enough to where I didn't think problems would occur. I started chain smoking after I found my boyfriend dead. Three days ago I started gettig what you have. I don't feel sick, my lungs just feel bad and plem keeps comming up. It's seems to be gatting better now that I stoppped smoking. I don't even want one now. I'm putting mms drops in a gallon of water and drinking, and taking vitimin d and c. Hot tea is helping me to stop coughing, with some natural stuff.

@Star2bCoolWoozen Correct me someone if I'm wrong but I didn't think bronchitis was contagious... Mine developed from the common cold..meaning you catch what started it possibly not bronchitis. I think after awhile though the cold was gone, all that was left was just my awful coughing and phlegm. My fiance had the cold, I got it from him. He got over it in 3-4 days. When I caught it I developed bronchitis and that was about 3 weeks of horrible coughing till present day ( minor coughing still)

@dooalittledippsy a lot better! I still cough occasionally during the day and cough stuff up but it's a lot more loose and clearer.
