Once again my last railway visit of the year would be to the West Somerset Railway Winter Steam Festival at the end of December. This years event would feature 5 engines in steam, operating the standard hourly special event timetable, with trains departing Minehead and Bishops Lydeard between 10am and 4pm. This event would see the first opportunity to see recently overhauled GWR 'Modified Hall' No 6960 'Raveningham Hall', making its first public appearance on trains. The full loco line up was:-
|GWR Modified Hall Class No 6960 'Raveningham Hall'
|BR(W) Manor Class No 7828 'Norton Manor'
|GWR 2884 Class No 3850
|SDJR 7F No 88
|WSR Mogul No 9351
This is the first video I've uploaded having used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit it, so I'm still getting to grips with what it does at the moment.
Splendidly noisy departure by 7828 from Crowcombe.
I don't know why, but I like the old chap with the bucket as well.
