Hm, she is rather inspiring, mostly because I aspire to be some kind of geneticist myself. And a writer. And I love both things so much, but writing is helluva stressful and I could see how genetic research could be at times as well. So it's nice to have something else to fall back on just to relax when the research is becoming too much of a weight--or vice versa, when you just can't the words right.
I suppose that's why this made me rather happy to see.

for real. this music is like a copy of a copy of a boring elevator music.

I hope for her sake her research is better than her music.

That's why i'm here too. I was reading her bio and it mentioned she was in a band too...dang. Some people really take life by the balls, eh?

The interviews with her online show her to be anything but a narcissist. Jealous much?

Osama Bin Laden ranked above her in the list of the "geniuses"

i love you Dr. Sabeti
I just saw here on Nova and wow! She is very pretty, a good song writer, musician, singer AND a renowned scientist.
She makes me feel like such a loser! lol

I stumbled upon a article by Pardis about DNA and the human genome, then learned of her band and musical ablity, an amazingly versatile woman. Smart, Talented, and Beautiful. How can one purchase a CD of 'Thousand Days'?
