Kinder Scout - Sunny Day

This is a walk that takes in the plateau on top of Kinder. This area should not be attempted without proper navigation equipment - about 15 square miles of boot-sucking featureless terrain. Many get lost here, especially in poor weather / visibility. Our walk was about 9.5 miles but the walk over the top took ages as it is so hard going with many 'groughs' to navigate. Great day though.

@vickytaff1 If you want to go for a nice 8.5 mile walk - do Trespass car park, William Clough, Kinder Downfall, Kinder Low, Tunstead Farm and back to car park. For a training walk, and these are very strenuous - skirt around the entire Kinder plateau to drop around to Tunstead - 17 miles - or continue to Kinder Downfall and back down William Clough - 24 miles. I did the 17 miler the week before the 3 peaks. I thought it harder than the challenge due to terrain. This would be excellent training.
