  • Nice

  • @ShelbyGT500TT dude you are just completely wrong....like completely....get YOUR facts straight...read wat superskullmaster said

  • i hate these engines.

  • Also, beta is ground range, including ground idle, disc, and reverse. The reason the GPU is on that side is that it was closest the hangers, and the gpu plug is so close to centre it doesn't matter which side you come from. The baggage compartment is identicale to an A or B, infact the only difference frome a B to B+ was the avionics and the centre section braceing, resulting in a higher MTOW. The position of the toilet and the use of HS props is a customer option and availible on any SAAB

  • Ok guys, listen up, here are the facts, the truth, whatever. I was the engineer running this plane at Wagga airport for Regional Express. the blades look bent because they are in feather which is as close to 0deg to the airflow as possible, this is done to prevent prop/LPT overspeed during start, also they are rather curvy (sexy) simatar blades, giving the apperence of bent. The bad noise is wind in the microphone of the Nokia phone recording the footage.

  • @ShelbyGT500TT No you get your facts straight you typical Youtube idiot. Beta=Reverse Pitch. Feathering is for 2 reasons only. #1: Engine failure/shutdown in flight for drag reduction. #2: Turboprops with free power turbines (gas generator seperate from propeller) have 2 turbines but only one compressor section. The 2nd turbine or "Power turbine" is connected to a gearbox which turns the prop, therefore they can and usually do start while feathered vs a turbine with a direct drive (see TPE331)

  • @TheMostFamousChannel feather means that they are bent because when they need to put it in to reverse the propellers turn in a circular way to provide reverse thrust. thats why. get your facts strait.

  • @TheMostFamousChannel its called feather.

  • You better watch your battery temp when doing a cross gen start. " NO BAT START " light , Didnt have that Issue in the ATR-42
