  • No, they did "Love Me Do" without Ringo because George Martin already booked Andy White to play on the track... Pete was just dismissed, Martin hired White, Ringo came in and Martin didn't know who he was and he told Brian Epstien and the group "I'm using Andy White, I don't know who Ringo is and your not going to burn me twice, I'm using Andy White thank you very much".. Andy White played on the single release of "Love Me Do / P.S. I love You".. but Ringo played both tracks on the "LP" version

  • He is a very NICE person and very funny BTW. Your place in history is secure Pete!

  • It seems Pete didn't live up to his surname.

  • think it was good 4 his health to NOT stay with the Beatles

  • Ringos better than you

  • idk how good this guy was... but ringo is a terriable drummer

  • They didn't even use Ringo Starr when the Beatles first single "Love me do " was being recorded in the studio !!!....as Ringo did not produced the appropriate sound.

  • I can tell that he still fell bad about it, his face turn red when he hear the word "BEATLES"
