Join Me On The Bridge - Pittsburgh, 2011

"Join Me On The Bridge" is an event held every year on International Women's Day, sponsored by the group "Women for Women," in which people are invited to meet on a local bridge in support of women's unity around the world.

One such event was held this year in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the Roberto Clemente Bridge, to draw attention to the plight of the Afghan women and the struggles they may have to endure with U.S. and NATO troops beginning their withdrawal in the summer of 2011.
