We still have to get through the cofferance and the house plan has a public option. If not, its still not dead b/c the mandate to buy a private policy is unconstitutional and will die on the supreme court floor, then I think you'll see medicaid and medicare open up for buy ins which States will love because it will clear 100's of millions off their books b/c policy holders will pay for it instead of the States. I think Obama is planning a rope-a-dope w/ the Rep's and they dont see it coming.
