If you're listening to Best Buy employees, then you have no reason using linux.

I agree with the last bit. Yes windows will be familiar if you already use windows. When I switched to linux there was a learning curve. But that's a good thing. It forces you to learn things. It's sad how many computer users don't know how to fix their computers. I wouldn't trust someone else with my machine. I have read about geek squad wiping out peoples files.

Do you know how to build your own house form scratch? Program an exact replica of MS excel? No? Why not? If you think everyone must know everything detail about everything they use then you live in an unrealistic fantasy world.

Linux update and upgrade is easy = INCORRECT!!! WHAT?? I've been updating my Ubuntu almost every day without restarting and has just upgraded from my previous version of Ubuntu without a problem, whereas upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7 causes me tons of headache, and I have to wait for almost a day just to get it full UPDATED!!!

Linux is safer than Windows = INCORRECT?? Don't mention about those malwares on Windows.

My whole family used Ubuntu, so much happier than using Windows, MYTH?

    Point and case.

You use a toilet, shower, and car right? Do you consider yourself mechanic level, or plumber level? You eat food every day. Do you know how to farm?

Just because people use something does not mean they need to learn all about it. If you had to know how to farm for your own food something your standard of living is low.

That is not true. When society is going upward, people do not have to learn about things they use, and can focus their attention on things they have interest in.

This is basic economics. I suggest going to your local college and taking an intro course.

No, it's a sign that society IS going downhill. It's a signal that people no longer care about the things they use and they don't even want to find out how to use them.
