The biggest RV motorhome would have a hard time sleeping 12 but back in 1955 twelve people traveled in hotel on wheels.
Just find a good place to park with a nice view, put up the side walls and roof, presto, it's just like a railroad pullman car with room to sleep a dozen, when their not admiring the scenery.
A restful nights sleep far from the madding throng where reveille can be a pleasure. The whole arrangement's cozy with all the comforts of home. And an alfresco breakfast wets a sluggish appetite.
All in all there's something to be said for a hotel that takes you with it instead of having to hunt one.

A couple of years ago, we saw the modern version of this in a campground. It looked like the big bus style MH's, but the back half of it was compartmented beds like in this video; it slept 24 plus the driver.
It was a European tour that came over and rented this rig to see the United States. We talked to the driver, and asked how the people got along for the month they were traveling. He said there were arguments once in awhile, but all in all, they all got along pretty good.
