BE SURE TO WATCH THE BATTLE. (BEST VIEWED IN FULL SCREEN with HD on) It starts at 1min 16 secs. This year I went to My first WW2 Reenactment. Man I can't believe what I've been Missing. In this Cinematic slide show I try to capture the Spirit of the event and especially the intensity and drama of the battle. Thank you to all the reenactors and participants that put on this Live History weekend. And thanks to all the WW2 veterans for fighting for your service and allowing us to be able to share this opportunity in learning about how the freedoms that we as Americans enjoy, were fought and won by Brave American and Allied soldiers. This slide show contains approximately 300 photo's, live sounds and audio from the two day event , Music, drums and sound effects.

  • No they Didn't actually use the flame thrower.

The Grass was too dry. But there was a fire and the Axis and Allies came together to Put out the Fire. It got pretty large for a moment. They Won the Battle against the fire then resumed the reenactment.

I was the not so good looking skinny guy... it was intense, we came down the left by the walls. i was using the 1903A3 Springfield (Makes a nice sound) I got some a couple Nazi ambushers who came around the edge of the wooded are. lol you could see on the first guy's face when he saw me amed on him "Oh Crap!" Bam...Bam... dropped two of them. then whatsa his name with that BAR of his CHA CHA CHA CHA, Hahah they got Owned.

  • could anyone please give me some links to German WWII re-enacting groups based in New York or in any near neighboring states ?????

  • how long does one of these last because im really instrested in joining one

  • don't take shit so literal, man...they're celebrating the men and women who sacrificed so much to fight in world war 2, as well as the technology, weaponry, and vehicles from that time in history. apply a little reasoning next time...
