@basgetz yes you can. but not with this stick. there are sticks like the x52 from saitek witch have a twist rudder system. so instead of using the peddals you twist the stick left or right. braking can be done by buttons.

@cs512tr it would be cool if they made DCS F-18 where you get to fly the whole F-18 series and have a mission where you fly the Blue angels.
