I was in London some years ago to a writer's conference, and I loved it. There is such a sense of history there - you have given much to the world - Shakespeare, for example, Charles Dickens, Sir Laurence Olivier, and let's not forget the Beatles. -:) The list goes on. Wonderful country.

i think britain is far more beautiful and interesting than america.
it doesn't matter who invented what. the fact is that none of YOU personally invented these things so stop trying to take credit for it. americans especially seem to do this all the time. it's ridiculous.

We speak your language because it is easy to learn and easier to type on a computer, not because we admire in any way. Most of us are multi-lingual, and we just use English as a communication medium. If we were to use Egyptian, Hebrew or Chinese, or other languages like that, its gonna create heck of a lot of trouble and its not time efficient. As for cars, political systems and TV shows, I don't see in any way we are copying yours. Anyways, we are smart because we declared independence.

If your place is all that great, we wouldn't be seeing so many immigrants here who left England willingly. I would rather live in Mexico as a homeless than living with people who speak non-sense like you. yes, drivers here are courteous (but still except a few), unfortunately road here are small and so londoners are not interested in big cars. and it pays to much if you have bigger cars here... so i try not to bother to have one.
