@tdhand15 Grade A is used by local importers, often to make the difference between handpicked and batch bred(grade B) koi, originating from Japanese lines, but mostly bred in Israel.

@hooinc Everywhere I've seen it, they have grades for them. Koi shows, breeders, Japanese breeders. What term would you use then?

Well everyone uses grades for koi. I don't know what other term that "you" would use, but nice quality koi you have there hooinc!

It looks like you spent thousands of dollars for them...They are Grade "A" Koi imported from Japan!?

@tdhand15 "Grade A" is not a term used by the Japanese, probably just by your local dealer. Some of my koi were quite expensive, others not so.
