2009 - Butterfly Twist and Jump Twist

This is my new personal animation to practice body mechanics. These are the martial arts move known as Butterfly Twist and Jump Twist.

Thats pretty sick dude. What did method and program did you use to animate that? I think its a little bit unrealistic, but thats deffinetely good stuff. Keep it up!

@Aglisons Thank you for comment. I do agree, I need to work on it little more sooner. The software is Maya and the process used was a hybrid method; combination of straight forward and pose to pose. Thanks :)

it was too fast wen it was in air. we know its a martial arts kick but it seems that it has something wrong with it. it doesnt go too high in the air. you hv shown very much force in the begining but its kick wasnt that high which shows stiffness in body. its animation is too fast in air.

and it has jerk in it wen it lands and also its body doent hav flexibility in the end.

but very Nice try
