@teenyrific you can specialize in just equine medicine if you're interested in mostly working with horses. Start taking a look at websites of vet schools you might be interested in attending and if you look at their curriculum you can see what kind of specializations there are. And of course, you don't have to stick to what you specialize in (I had a vet that had a small animal clinic and then also worked for an exotic cat sanctuary and treated lions and tigers and such) but you probably will :)

So I wanna be a large animal vet too, but do you have to stick your hand up a cows butt that often? I want to work more with horses, but I like cows too! (and pigs, and llamas, and goats, and sheep, and such, and also dogs...)
