Life in Thailand - living small.
I think most people don't know how expats live in Thailand. We're not in huts for the most part, but fairly modern houses, townhomes, or villas. This is probably the 15th place I've lived in, and it's fine - enough space and all the basic conveniences. We don't sleep on beds - we have 3 inch mats. We have a mini refrigerator. We have a washer - no dryer. We don't have hot water showers or for the sink. That's basically it. No garage. No carpets - just tiled floors. We use the upstairs only to sleep.
Any other questions you have about living in Thailand?
I miss Bangkok, Thailand (!) already.

A friend just brought me 5 bottles of Pico Pica hot sauce from the U.S. I am in heaven. Most things I miss I can find in Thailand.
