A video I made about 5 years ago but never got around to posting on Youtube. Here's my description from back then:
"A video mashup of this John Lee Hooker over this 50 Cent (with Howlin Wolf on the intro in lieu of Funkmaster Flex). Probably makes more sense if you've already watched the 50 video.
I picked these out only because I thought the music would mix well, but the contrast also makes me ponder how Black music's relationship with money has changed between then and now... "

@veksink he still features prominently in the video, and its his garish celebration of his riches there that contrasts so sharply with John Lee Hooker's perspective and sentiment. Plus realistically it's still a 50 Cent song, just like "Funky Drummer" is still a James Brown sample even though you generally only hear Clyde Stubblefield when it is sampled.

seeing as how 50 cent didn't produce that beat and you didn't use any of his lyrics you could have left any mention of him completely off of the track
