This inspiring thought gave birth to the ALAY SA MAY MGA KAPANSANAN ASSOCIATION, INC. (AKAI), a non-government and non-stock organization registered under SEC No. A200116478 designed to encourage and help people with physical and mental disability gain a sense of self-worth and hope that would enable them improve their lives and their future.
True to its ideals, the association has been conducting a variety of seminars and workshops to help those with disability develop their skills that may enable them to earn a living despite their condition. The association has also given out wheelchairs, crutches, hearing aids and other assistive devices, and conducted free medical and dental services to men, women and children with disability in many depressed areas, institutions and schools.
Primary purpose engaged in:
To lend support and assistance to the disabled person, rendering Medical services and seminars to the under-privileged, more specially to the young and aged people.

MISSION
To develop person with disability to become resourceful despite of their physical disability.
Designed to encourage people with physical or mental disability, giving them sense of self worth and for the future.
VISION
To establish home for them, help them to build their social, moral and spiritual life, and to enhance their physical well-being, that they may see hope and they will take disability a challenge not a hindrance.
GOAL & OBJECTIVES
To conduct a livelihood project, Handicraft Making to give them an opportunity how to become productive, and make them responsible citizen in our community.
