Animatronic Fish - Rainbow Trout

Behind the Scenes of an animatronic fish made for a Feature Film. Two Rainbow Trout measuring 14 " and 16". I would love to waterproof one of these and swim it up the river. I had a great time working on these two fish with Sal Denaro. He handled all of the molding and casting in Foam Latex as i worked out the mechanisms. Here is some test footage shot in my studio. When its actually shot on film it will get a coating of a surgical lubricant to give it a real wet look. check out my blog for more stills and other projects.
