an engineer/mechanic named Norman Timbs made this interesting car based very loosly on the Auto Union record streamliner cars of the late 1930s. It has a buick straight 8 (most likely because that was the highest powered engine any normal person could get) which is in the middle, in front of the rear wheels, ford and packard parts, gas tank behind the engine and a spare tire.

  • @dvsthientai no, its a car that Norman Timbs (an engineer) built from scratch with a buick straight 8 based very losely on the Auto Union/Mercedes Streamliners of the 1930s that did Grand Prix's.

  • i honestly think he built the car frontside back! it wouldve been awesome if it was the other way round..

  • great bodywork, but that is just plain ugly.

  • @kevinmosleyI This probably couldn't see production even back then, this was made custom by the owner.
