@tuesdaysbirdseed LMAO sticking his tongue out IS AN ESTABISHED technique. It's how he's able to support such a range without it sounding thin and weedy. It has to do with the muscles in the throat and how you produce the fullest, strongest sound. Read any text on vocal technique and it will explain to you what Adam is doing there and how smart that is. Adam has trained solidly that's why he knows how to do that.

Just came back to watch this as I'm anticipating the return of American Idol to TV in a few weeks! I remember a friend sent me this video and a leaked video of Adam's Idol performance. I was absolutely AWESTRUCK by this performance and knew Adam would be going far!! Really looking forward to his upcoming album.

@lilfairyfeet Why not both the theater AND the glamrock singer? Personally I would love to see Adam up on the big screen as well. Singer, songwriter, composer, actor, Performer and Entertainer (yes, those both deserve to be capitalized!)... Maybe someday a scriptwriter? You've got to hand it to him, the guy is multi-talented. Can his creativity and talent possibly be expressed through only ONE outlet? Can they even be contained within one genre? :o)
