Moving day, and the cats know there's something different about today..
An attempt was made earlier in the day to catch this cat and put him in the cat carrier. Much human blood was shed, and it took three people to hold this cat down long enough to get him into the bathroom.
A pair of welding gloves were added to the arsenal, and this is the recorded result. Notice how calm and sweet this little guy is until he's within lunging distance of the camera (some of this is caught on screen).
And yes, he is dragging the man holding the scruff of the neck down the hallway...

This is one strong/scary cat!

  • me and my friend is getting feral kittens, we are going to my other friends naberhood which has a ton of kittens. We are getting to, my friend has a big cage where wild animals like coyotes and hawks and stuff cant get it, or my dog. Her worker person is making a mini house with heaters and its like a dog house for kittens. We are keeping them at my house. We are just planning right now put we know people who can give them shots for free and i think this plan will actually work!! Cant wait!

  • you need high quality welding gloves. fiber-metal

  • LOL "Oh yes, PLEASE!" when he ran into the cage on his own. I know THAT feeling.

My feral cat is now overaffectionate and very needy, and yells at me if I need to leave the house, thanks to overloving him to get him used to people...lol yay.

  • best thing to do is put in a dog crate in an area where u spend a good amount of time. Keep them in the dog crate until they get nicer.

  • I just went through this with my 10 year old tuxedo cat. Ended up calling the vet.

Cost was $60, that poor man earned every penny!

  • Yep, some cats are that way ALL the time, regardless of how nice and gentle you are with them. Like people, cats can also just have a mean, nasty personality. I encountered one particular cat like this once. It bit me and all hell broke loose. It tore the hell out of my arm and that's all she wrote for that cat. In the struggle I broke it's neck and I had to put it down.

I don't know what makes some cats the greatest in the world while others would make the pope himself cuss.

  • You were very lucky that the cat didn't bite you or scratch you, despite wearing oven mitts. Adult feral cats can get VERY nasty with people. When I first caught a cat with a cat trap, when I lifted the trap or went near it (fortunately, the silver padding prevented her from biting me or scratching me), she would flinch, hiss, and spit at me. Unfortunately, she had to be put down because she was just too aggressive to handle according to the shelter. I believed it; still do. :(

  • LOL that was great that happen to me and my family one time
