I love it when two people start out hating each other and fall in love as they get to know each other! I think Tiana and Naveen will be my favorite Disney couple (after Mickey and Minnie, of course)

I love this movie! I'm 23 years old and I was seriously missing the traditional disney movies! In 2D and filled with magic and music and laughing scenes and sad scenes...this had it all! I love that Tiana is black and I ABSOLUTELY love the emphasis they put on their wedding rings...throughout the movie you can never miss the wedding rings on Tiana's parents fingers and later, on Tiana and Naveen...I could go all day on and on babbling about this movie!

Lol well I've seen this movie in theatres twice already, and I'm probably going again this weekend because I have multiple circles of friends who wanted to go see it, but couldn't all go on the same day. I do not object to this. I love it so much, and even seeing it more than once I still laughed and cried throughout the movie.

No, she's a princess. She just married into it, like Cinderella and Belle. They weren't princesses at the start of their movies either, but they married princes.

She is the first black Disney Princess.

this movie really captured the Disney magic and the spirit of dreaming. I've seen this movie at least 4 times and i'm STILL not tired of it! This movie, so beautifully crafted and created, inspires many follow their dreams and open themselves up to love. This movie makes me want my own fairy tale and makes me feel like true love can come from the most unexpected places, and that it can happen. Love, love LOOOOVEEE this movie-1,000,000 and 6X better than any movie!! <333

Wait a minute so she's a metaphoric Princess. She's really not a Princesses but due to some wild chain of events she becomes a Princess, but before she never really was a Princess.

If thats the case then she really isnt the first black disney Princess. Remember that the Cinderella movie with Brandy and Whitney Houston?

So technically is and isnt a real Princess. That makes no since. Am I getting this right?
