  • Terrific piece! And it points out how unique

a broadcaster Tom Snyder was. He never had the

great looks of today's talk show talking heads, but he was bright, incisive and always

did his homework. Great seeing an early Elvis interview here too, thanks for posting.

  • Great vid. Is it just me or did Elvis have a more working-class accent back then? Check 1:32 when he says "meself" for "myself". Thanks for posting.

  • Thanks a trillion, indoorgames. You have impeccable taste.

  • "I will check with you in 22 years and see how it's going."

How'd that work out for you, Tom? EC managed to hang around.

  • Can you imagine EC being on Larry King around this time (1980)?

Larry asks: So Mr Elvis, where you watching detectives in London? Lol

LOL, Tom just blows EC off when he tells him that his Dad discouraged him, he just keeps going, lol.

I was really into the Trust album at that time, I played that sucker out, thanks for posting!
