Not to be confused with the very first Feral Chaos battle, in the game's opening. Although I did survive for 39 seconds in that, which is not bad :P
Anyway, yay for my first Dissidia video upload! ^_^ This is the first half of my initial attempt at defeating the weaker Feral Chaos in Scenario 000, with a party of my Dissidia-mastered Terra, Squall, Sephiroth, Kuja and Cloud. You'll find the second half here:

The phase with Terra, which is the entire content of this half of the video, was by far and away the most successful; virtually all of the damage I inflicted on Feral Chaos was in this phase. Admittedly, my highly repetitive and boring technique is less than efficient, but hey, it works... up to a point, anyway. The point where I died, that is.
I actually went back this morning and tried a second time, emerging victorious without great difficulty. Sadly I can't provide the video for that, as my memory card was too full with this replay to record it. However, I think my victory can be easily described as about 25 minutes of equivalent content to this video, minus the Terra being pwnt bit, at which point I had him down to around 1000HP before he finally killed Terra. I'd adjusted my party to bring Cloud out next, and within a couple of minutes (of content akin to much of the second video for this replay), I polished this beastie off good and proper, with no retries :P
you had 2 assist bars at the end guy, you couldve survived a few extra minutes if you had hit L and Square, as well as getting the opportunity to counter the bastard. No harm done though. Good fighting.

Although I'd had plenty of exposure to the Assist system by this point in the game, I'd been getting by on not using it much, and certainly not using it effectively. The fact that I spent the majority of this battle with Assist Charges that I simply wasn't bothering to use is testament to that.
If I remember correctly, I probably did try to Assist Change, but because my "Assist reflex", so to speak, was underdeveloped, I reacted much too late to escape.
Anyway, thanks ^_^

Actually, correction. I think I had Auto Assist on all of my characters, so I was kind of blase about Assists, and consequently I had no reflex AT ALL. It amounts to the same end result, of course.
